Best IPTV Player respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our IPTV player application.
Information We Collect
- Basic usage data to improve app performance
- Device information such as device type and OS version
- Crash and diagnostic data so we can find and fix problems
- An advertising identifier (on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA) — only if you allow it, see Advertising below
We do NOT collect personal information such as name, email, or payment details.
IPTV Content Disclaimer
Best IPTV Player is a media player only. We do not provide, host, sell, or promote any IPTV content or subscriptions.
Advertising
Best IPTV Player is free and is funded by advertising. We show ads through Google AdMob.
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether you allow this app to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Your answer controls what the ads can use:
- If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) may be shared with Google AdMob and combined with data from other apps and websites so the ads you see are more relevant, and so advertisers can measure whether their ads worked.
- If you decline, you still see the same number of ads, but they are non-personalized — chosen from general context rather than from your advertising identifier.
You can change your answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device. You may also turn the identifier off entirely there.
We never share your playlist details, provider credentials, channel names, or what you watch with advertisers. Those never leave your device except to the IPTV provider you configured yourself.
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — advertising, as described above
- Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens are opened and whether playback succeeded
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability reporting
All three are provided by Google. You can read how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.
Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes.
